All you need to know about Novara

Founded by the Romans, Novara is home to well preserved Roman ruins. Becoming the site of the battle of Novara in 1849, between the Sardinian Army and the Austrian Army, which led to the abdication of the Sardinian king and left to the unification of Italy.  This city, as a result, has a rich history and historic centre which was once encompassed by a city wall. 

Redevelopment and urban expansion has led to this city becoming popular with growing businesses as well as tourism to the area. Novara is of great importance as a commercial centre and is the seat of the Goods Intermodal Centre. Due to its close proximity to Milan, many Milanese corporations have offices in this city making it a growing city and hub.
