Which Colours Mean Wildly Different Things In Other Cultures? [Infographic]

Colours are everywhere and we’re faced with them every day, so it goes without saying that we hold associations to colour, sometimes without even realising it.

However, although some colours hold the same meanings universally, this is not always the case. For example, in Thailand each day of the week is represented by its own colour and, in some cultures, white is associated with death.

There are plenty of colours which have completely different meanings from culture to culture, and we’ve rounded up some of the most extreme.
