Farnborough, located on the Surrey and North Hampshire boarders, is most famous for its biennial International Air Show held on the site of the birthplace of flying and aeronautical research in Britain. Built in 1907 by the Royal Engineers to be the headquarters of their Balloon School, Trenchard House is one of the oldest aviation related buildings in the country.
