The Pier Apartments are located on the award-winning transformation of the early 1930s pier building in Hobart, just a five minute walk from Salamanca Place, Battery Point, Hobart city centre and excellent restaurants and cafes.

These spacious loft style serviced apartments are available in a variety of sizes and layouts, from one bedroom apartments to family suites. Each enjoys beautiful, panoramic views of the Derwent River, the Hobart waterfront and historic Sullivans Cove.

The self-contained apartments include stylish bedrooms, contemporary living/dining areas, private laundries and fully equipped kitchens. Some also feature a balcony. The building offers many hotel-style facilities and services including a cocktail bar, restaurant, conference facilities, room service and a concierge.

Hobart

Hobart is the capital of the Australian island state of Tasmania. Founded in 1804 as a penal colony and today has a population of approximately 202,000. The city is the financial and administrative heart of Tasmania, and also serves as the home port for both Australian and French Antarctic operations.

Hobart is on the estuary of the Derwent River in the state's south-east. The central business district is located on the western shore, adjacent to Sullivan's Cove, with the inner suburbs spread out along the shores of the Derwent and climbing up the hills at the foot of Mount Wellington (1270 metres).

Hobart is internationally famous among the yachting fraternity as the finish of the Sydney to Hobart Yacht Race which starts in Sydney on Boxing Day. The arrival of the yachts is celebrated as part of the Hobart Summer Festival, a food and wine festival beginning just after Christmas and ending in mid January.

The airport is located near the semi-rural suburb of Cambridge about 20 kilometers from the city centre or a 15 minute drive.
