How do we rate?

These Sydney serviced apartments are situated within the city centre, only a five minute walk from Darling Harbour, Cockle Bay and some of the best shopping in the city. Close to the apartments are also cinemas, the Entertainment and Convention Centre, China Town, the Capital Theatre, Queen Victoria Building and the mainline railway station.

One, two and three bedroom apartments and some studio apartments come with a fully equipped kitchen while other studio apartments come with a kitchenette.

All apartments have an in-room safe, broadband access (chargeable) and air conditioning. One, two and three bedroom apartments come with a stereo with CD player and an individual laundry area.

On-site leisure facilities include a mosaic-tiled, heated indoor swimming pool, sauna and fitness centre. There is also a cafe in the building, which is not run by the apartment owners but which can be used by residents and the cost added to their bill.

Sydney

Sydney is the oldest European settlement in Australia, having been founded as a British penal colony on 26 January 1788, now celebrated as Australia Day. Although having grown to into a sprawling city of 4.2m set around its Harbour and up the Parramatta River, the central business district is relatively compact and easy to walk around.

In the city centre is the Strand Arcade, a fine example of Victorian Architecture, and a shopping destination well known for the large number of Australian designers it showcases. The Rocks by the south pier of the famous Harbour Bridge contains many fine restaurants and interesting shops. Just west of the city centre is Darling Harbour which is dedicated to leisure and tourist services and home to the dramatic Sydney Aquarium. It can be reached by the monorail which loops around the CBD.

Just north of the CBD is Circular Quay which is the major public transport hub of the city. The station here links to the 8 ferry routes which operate across the world's largest natural harbour and up the Parramatta River. The ferries give access to the many public beaches around the harbour, which are popular for family barbeques and all types of watersports. Surfing is very popular on the Pacific Ocean beaches at Manley and Bondi.

Kingford Smith International Airport is in the southern suburb of Mascot and the Airport Link railway offers a direct connection to the downtown area.
