How do we rate?

These Melbourne serviced apartments are a 45 minute drive from Melbourne International Airport and a two minute walk from Middle Brighton railway station, making them conveniently located for business travellers. Cosmopolitan Church Street is just a minute away on foot, while Brighton Beach is a ten minute walk away.

There are studios and one, two, three and four bedroom apartments available. All come with a kitchen, a living area, a balcony and one bathroom per bedroom (some en suite). The living area is equipped with a DVD player, a Hi-Fi system and a flat screen television with a cable package.

The apartments are serviced twice weekly. Laundry, dry cleaning and babysitting services are available for an extra charge. A welcome pack is available on request (chargeable).

Guests can make use of an on-site parking facility (chargeable) and there is a reception open during office hours. Wireless broadband is available for an extra charge.

Melbourne

Founded by free-settlers in 1835, Melbourne was transformed from a small pastoral settlement situated around the Yarra River into a growing metropolis by the Victorian gold rush in the 1850s. By 1865, "Marvellous Melbourne" was Australia's most populous and important city. It served as the temporary national capital from the Federation of Australia in 1901 until the construction of Canberra in 1927.

Melbourne is a major centre of commerce, industry and cultural activity. Often referred to as the sporting capital of Australia it is home to many of Australia's major annual sporting and cultural events, and was the host of the 1956 Summer Olympics and the 2006 Commonwealth Games. Melbourne is renowned for its Victorian architecture, including the Royal Exhibition Building, and its notable landmarks such as the iconic Flinders Street Station and the Melbourne Cricket Ground. The extensive tram network is the third largest in the world and the largest in the Southern Hemisphere. Visitors are served by a free City Circle Tram, taking in many tourist sights.

Federation Square at the junction of Flinders and Swanston Streets is the heartbeat of Melbourne's commercial and nightlife quarters.

The International Airport is located in Tullamarine which is north of the city. Other than taxis, the Skybus service is the only available public transport service to the airport direct from the Melbourne CBD, the trip taking approximately 20 minutes from Southern Cross Station.
