London is the capital of England and of the United Kingdom. Bayswater is a district of west London in the City of Westminster. It is west north-west of Charing Cross and borders the north of Hyde Park over Kensington Gardens.
Nearby Queensway and Westbourne Grove are busy high streets, with a large number of cafes and restaurants, and Whiteleys Shopping Centre, situated on the corner of Queensway and Westbourne Grove, provides numerous fashion and lifestyle shops, restaurants, a bowling alley and cinema. Also in the area is the Bayswater Institute founded in 1991.
The nearest London Underground stations are Bayswater (Central and District lines), Queensway (Central line), Royal Oak (Hammersmith and City) and Lancaster Gate (Central line).
