The Bassett Apartments are housed within a newly built (2009) block in the residential suburb of Bassett. Located on the A33, the main road into Southampton, they are approximately 10 minutes drive from the town centre.
Each of these modern apartments comprises: two double bedrooms, one with en-suite shower room, a main bathroom, a fully equipped kitchen with laundry facilities, and a comfortable living/dining area.
There is also underfloor heating and a specialised air-conditioning unit, and all apartments have free internet access and a telephone.
There are a selection of additional services available to apartment guests (subject to availability and charge) including office equipment hire, laundry services, grocery packs and car hire. Membership to a local gym can also be arranged for a weekly fee (approx. GBP25).

Located on England's south coast, Southampton has been a major port since the 13th Century and was home to the RMS Titanic. The Maritime Museum in the Wool House features an exhibition on the ill-fated liner.
The main station in the city is Southampton Central with excellent links to London and other south coast towns and cities. Southampton Airport is located in the town of Eastleigh, just north of Southampton. It is connected to the city by a frequent rail service, and hosts flights to UK and some European destinations.
Southampton harbour is no longer used for car ferries to Europe, but remains the embarkation point for many cruise liners. Sailing is very popular, and Southampton Water has been the start and finish of the Round the World Yacht Race for 30 years.
The main retail facility is the West Quay Shopping Centre, which was the biggest city-centre shopping mall in Europe when it was opened.
The largest green space is Southampton Common which covers a larger area than Hyde Park in London and includes a Wildlife Centre, a swimming pool and several lakes and ponds.
