The Birley Street Apartments are housed within a stylish, newly built (2008) residential development, situated in the centre of Preston. The location is one of the best in the city; minutes from local amenities, bars and restaurants, boutique and high street shopping, and historic sights.

The apartments comprise a reception hallway leading to one or two bedrooms, a main bathroom and a spacious open-plan kitchen/sitting room. All of the rooms benefit from lovely views over the city. Features include a full SKY TV package and uests will receive a welcome pack on arrival.

NB. There is chargeable on-street parking roughly 20m from the apartments. It is free to park between 18.30 - 08.00.

Preston

In 2002 Preston was awarded city status, making it England's newest city. The occasion was marked when the Queen visited during her Golden Jubilee celebrations.

The city has an ancient history, dating back to when it received its Charter in 1179, and is unique in that it famously holds the Preston Guild every 20 years - with the next celebration due to take place in 2012.

With a population of 130,000, Preston is growing both physically and in terms of profile. Now, the city's driving vision is to be the third city of the North West, after Manchester and Liverpool.

At the centre of Lancashire, Preston has a strong economic and retail base.
