Milton Keynes is a purpose-built new town less than 40 years old. Located in Buckinghamshire, South East England, it is about 45 miles north-west of London, and roughly halfway between London and Birmingham. The town is laid out on a US style grid system for major roads so "V" roads are vertical (north/south) & "H" roads horizontal (east/west).
Campbell Park is a civil parish and district in east- and south-central Milton Keynes, Buckinghamshire, and also a park within the district. The park takes up the larger part of the district. It was named in honour of the first chairman of Milton Keynes Development Corporation, Lord Campbell of Eskan. It stretches from the Theatre end of Central Milton Keynes down to the Grand Union Canal.
