Matthew He

Matthew was born in Guangzhou in China and moved to London in 1999 to join his mum in Finchley, north London. He has a bachelor’s degree and a master’s degree in Financial Economics from the University of Leicester.

Matthew joined the Sales Team in September 2011. He provides support to one of SilverDoor’s largest account management teams and, as a fluent Cantonese and Mandarin speaker, plays a key role in developing relationships with clients and property providers in the Far East. He assists our Partner Relations and Rates Manager – International by accompanying him on trips to China.

After university Matthew worked as a Research Assistant at the Department of Business Innovation and Skills, and as a Telemarketing Executive at DBI, where he worked selling and marketing liability insurance to businesses.

Matthew works with a lot of international property partners, particularly in China. This year he has learned to complete certain tasks in the morning because of the time difference.

His hobbies include playing basketball and collecting limited edition trainers from across the world – he currently has over 50 pairs.
