Segun Babalola

Segun was appointed IT Director in April 2009 after having worked with SilverDoor on a consultancy basis for the previous nine years. His role now involves planning, directing and managing the activities and operations of the IT department, as well as overseeing the continuing development (phase 4) of the SilverDoor website.

Segun has had a varied and interesting work history; he has been, amongst other things, a lecturer, Submarine Systems Engineer, a Senior Software Consultant, and Head of IT Development for Royal Holloway, University of London.

Segun has a BEng (Hons) in Aeronautical Engineering and an MSc in Scientific & Engineering Software Technology.

His hobbies include keeping fit and having the odd pint, although presumably not at the same time.
