Stuart Winstone

Stuart has worked in the hospitality sector since 1994 in various roles for several Oxford hotels. In 1998 he left Oxford for London to begin working as a Reception Team Leader in one of London’s biggest hotels, the Forte owned Strand Palace. From there he moved to their Head Office to concentrate on Group Sales, placing tour groups at Forte Hotels around the world. His last job before joining SilverDoor was as a Senior Business Development Manager for the Dolphin Square Hotel in London’s Westminster.

After Dolphin Square closed Stuart began working as a Sales Temp for SilverDoor in June 2006, but thanks to his significant experience in hotels was promoted to Business Development Manager shortly after. He became Head of Business Partnerships in May 2008, managing some of SilverDoor's biggest accounts and developing relationships with new and existing property partners.

Stuart has met many famous people during his years in hotels including Val Kilmer, Joan Collins and Philip Schofield, but he maintains that meeting Kermit the Frog was best of all. He’s also a 'winterphobe' and can be found defrosting in the Southern Hemisphere for several weeks each winter.
